This morning we were thinking about running this ad, say on EBay's Intergalactic site and fishing for bids. There is just so much dark comedy in this idea that we could not resist posting it.
Let's start with the benefits. Hmm. Well, lets see; we still have a few fish, some oil, small mineral deposits to extract, lots of gold in storage, a biosphere that should work for a little while, and Seven Billion hostile, hungry, dysfunctional, procreating species needing intergalatical welfare assistance some time soon. Not so good uh?
OK - here are some BIG pluses. Global GDP should grow by 3% annually, you can print all the money you need or borrow at really low rates, own your own island nation and mine as much gold as you need. What! - still no takers?
Any Ideas? Maybe you can help us put some lipstick on the beast!
